To ensure optimal performance and longevity, Generac generators require a 25-hour break-in service after initial operation. Our technicians perform this important maintenance to keep your generator running reliably.

This service is only required if your generator reaches 25 hours of run time prior to its first annual maintenance visit. Completing this break-in service helps maintain proper engine performance and supports the long-term reliability of your generator.
We recommend annual maintenance to all of our customers. We recognize your investment, and we will ensure your generator operates to its fullest potential. Services will be completed according to manufactures specifications.

We do not service portable or diesel generators
Take the headache away from trying to remember when your annual maintenance is due, you can now sign up to be a recurring customer. Roughly around the same time each year our system will automatically schedule you for annual maintenance; you will receive a text and/or email about a month prior to let you know your service date.

Please note this does not include service calls, 25-hour break in service or any additional maintenance other than your annual maintenance. If your generator has run more than 100 hours before your next annual service is due, please contact our office. This is not a binding contract; Generator Guy LLC has to right to stop all current & future services at any time with or without cause.
We are factory trained and certified to provide repairs, as well as warranty repairs on air-cooled Generac & Kohler generators. We are also factory certified to provide repairs & warranty repairs on liquid-cooled Kohler generators up to 38kw and Generac generators up to 80kw.
We renew our training every year in order to maintain our Generac & Kohler service dealership status and to stay current with all the latest Generac & Kohler technologies and guidelines.
To keep your current warranty plans valid, Generac requires full service to be completed every 200 hours or annually whichever comes first. Kohler requires full service to be completed annually.
